Colt New Line .22 Pocket Revolver Serial Number 31241
(manufactured in 1876) with 2" barrel - Factory
nickel finish with fire blue small
parts and smooth walnut grips. Factory letter
indicates this Colt New Line Revolver was one of 181 shipped
to B. Kittredge and Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, date of
shipment not listed. Letter also indicated the gun was
manufactured with 1/2 nickel finish, but this is obviously
incorrect. as it evidenced by the original full factory
nickel finish and the etched barrel.
