Colt Police Positive Target Serial Number 39451 with 6" barrel
(ca. 1932)
- Factory blue finish with checkered walnut stocks and flush Colt
medallions. Revolver also has fire blue sight screws, case colored
ejector knob. Colt factory letter indicates that this Colt was a single gun
shipment shipped on October 4, 1932 to J.J. Nelson, Tampa, FL. Special
features note that it was "furnished with a tuned action and 2 3/4 lb
trigger pull." The work was processed on Colt Factory Order Number
11693/1.
Serial number 39451 on frame.
Recoil shield, inside of frame.
Adjustable front sight with fire blue sight screws.
Rear adjustable target sight. Fire blue screw on top of rear
sight.
Checkered walnut grips are inscribed on the butt: "J.J.N. To D.H.B.
2-28-34".
