Colt Pocket Positive .32 - Collector's Information - Experimental Colt Pocket Positive, Colt Factory Presentation to E.H. Kelly, .32  Police Cartridge Serial Number 149866

Experimental Colt Pocket Positive Serial Number 149866, .32 Police caliber with 2 1/2" barrel - Factory blue finish with checkered walnut medallion grips, original box (numbered to the gun), Shooting Suggestions and cleaning brush.  Colt factory indicates that this revolver was manufactured in 1930 as an Experimental Model and was presented by Colt Vice-President B.F. Connor to Mr. E.H. Kelly, Factory Superintendent, on April 17, 1947 and was a single gun shipment.  Mr. Kelly was a valued executive and inventor having served almost 59 years with the Colt Company.

Experimental Pocket Positive - this revolver has a number of features that were never carried into production.

E.H. Kelly Patent for the design of the top of the frame.  This experimental revolver has this feature incorporated in its design.
