Colt Bankers Special .38 (Square Butt) - Collector's Information


Colt Bankers Special Serial Number 331115 with 2" barrel - Blue finish with checkered walnut grips, square butt. Factory inscribed "N.P.D. No. 1471" on the butt of the revolver presumably for the Newark Police Department. One of 100 guns shipped to George Hunt Company, Newark, New Jersey on July 30, 1930.  Processed on Colt Factory Order number 18574/100.

Marked on left of barrel:

Colt Bankers Special Serial Number 331115 - right side.  Right side of barrel contains patent dates.
