Colt Service Model Ace .22 LR - W.B. Inspected Serial Number SM 3082

Colt Service Model Ace Serial Number SM3082 - WWII issue, sold to the United States Government and one of 75 guns delivered to the Inspector of Ordnance at the Colt plant, August 14, 1942.  Processed on Colt Factory Order number #690.

W.B. inspector's mark for Col. Waldemar S. Broberg, Army Inspector of Ordnance from July 1, 1941 to June 16, 1942 at the Hartford/Springfield Ordnance District.  The slide is numbered to the gun.
