Colt Super Match .38 - Serial Number 25718

Super Match .38 serial number 25718 with adjustable sights - pistol was a single gun shipment to A.F. Stoeger Arms, Co., New York, NY on April 2, 1937.  1937 was the fourth year of production for the Super Match.  Slide has a small monogram (FJH) inscribed on the right side of the frame above the serial number.  The initials FJH are for Ford James Higgins (1910-1982).  Gun was acquired by Higgins in Bozeman, MT in the late 1930s.

Super Match in original box (numbered to the gun) with test target, instructions, cleaning brush in original wrapper, sight adjusting tool in original envelope, special instructions and shooting suggestions.
